Valley Freightliner, Inc. (VFI) is proud to congratulate our Medford, Oregon staff for earning Elite Support certification from Daimler Trucks North America. This recognition, earned on December 9, 2015, required review of over 120 support standards. Dealerships across the U.S. and Canada take part in the rigorous proficiency assessment and VFI is pleased to have Medford join their ranks.
Dealer certification usually takes many months of commitment; for Medford it was 24 months to reach this goal. Elite Support Facilitator, Coley Dize, commented that “it is rare for us to find such a unified culture of Continuous Improvement on an initial certification.”
“We are committed to providing highly trained staff, prompt and accurate information and the best service in the Northwest for our customers,” said Scott Gordon, President of VFI. “We appreciate the Medford team’s commitment to those goals.” VFI’s dealerships employ a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to make sure our goals are met as well as to keep striving for the best customer experience possible. Sidney Smith, Medford’s CIC was integral in the process, as was John Edwards, Branch Manager for Medford and Jarrett DeLorenzo, VFI’s Elite Support DFCIC for the Pacific Truck Center stores.
VFI has Elite Support certified dealerships throughout Washington, including Pacific, Olympia, Spokane, and Mount Vernon. VFI Medford is now joining our La Grande, Hermiston and Coburg locations in providing Elite Support service to the customers of Oregon. Each dealership is recertified annually to ensure the highest standards continue to be met.
