- The M2 106 Plus is available with a range of powertrain options from Detroit® and Cummins engines to
Allison and Eaton transmissions.
SAFETY
CUTTING-EDGE SAFETY
The M2 106 Plus keeps productivity moving safely. In addition to a lightweight, steel-reinforced aluminum cab that protects drivers, the M2 106 Plus features wide
doors and a low step-in height for easy ingress/egress, as well as a 2,500-square-inch windshield and sloped hood for maximum visibility. It also offers
the Bendix Intellipark Electronic Parking Brake System to help prevent rollaways.
The Detroit Assurance® with ABA 5 Suite of Safety Systems is available on the M2 106 Plus with Detroit and Cummins engines, offering exceptional safety on the road and the job site.
ACTIVE BRAKE ASSIST 5
Detroit Assurance Active Brake Assist helps mitigate potential collisions with stationary and traveling vehicles as well as moving pedestrians by automatically
engaging warnings, and partial or full braking.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Detroit Assurance Adaptive Cruise Control adjusts cruising speed down to 10 MPH to maintain a safe following distance from vehicles in its path. ACC is
available on the M2 106 Plus with Detroit and Cummins engines.
LANE DEPARTURE WARNING
Detroit Assurance Lane Departure Warning keeps an eye on the road and alerts the driver if their truck veers into another lane without signaling.
SIDE GUARD ASSIST
Detroit Assurance Side Guard Assist alerts the driver about objects and pedestrians in the truck’s passenger-side blind spot.
